On the website of the anime adaptation of “Burning Kabaddi” (Japanese: “Shakunetsu Kabaddi”) it was announced today that the series will be broadcast on Japanese television from 2 April 2021.

“Burning Kabaddi” is directed by Kazuya Ichikawa (“Clean Freak! Aoyama kun”) at the studios TMS Entertainment and domerica. Yuuko Kakihara is responsible for the series composition, while Mari Takada (“Monster Strike the Animation”) contributes the character design.
Ken Ito (“Handa-kun”) is responsible for the musical accompaniment. The opening song “Fire Bird” is by Shunya Ouhira and the ending song “Comin’ Back” is sung by Yuuma Uchida, who also speaks the main character Tatsuya Hoigoshi.
The series is based on a manga by Hajime Musashino, which has been published in Shogakukan’s Manga One magazine since July 2015. The Japanese publishing house has already published 15 volumes.
