On the official website of the anime adaptation of “Kingdom”, a new teaser video for the third season of the series was released today, which will return to Japanese television in April 2021 after it had to pause after the fourth episode due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Third Season With New Production Team
The third season is directed by Kenichi Imaizumi (“Brynhildr in the Darkness”) in Studio Signpost. Mangaka Yasuhisa Hara acts as supervisor. The series composition is performed by Noboru Takagi, while Hisashi Abe is responsible for the character design.
The 38-part first season aired in Japan between June 2012 and February 2013. A 39-episode second season began in June 2013 and was on Japanese television until March 2014.
Hara launched the manga “Kingdom”, which is one of the best-selling manga series in Japan, in January 2006 in the “Young Jump” magazine. Shueisha has published 59 volumes.

Shin and Hyou are war orphans in the Kingdom of Qin. They dream of proving themselves on the battlefield until the day Hyou is captured by a minister.
