What is Deadwater Fell About?
Revealing the origins and outcomes of the violent, unthinkable tragedy in the fictional Scottish village of Kirkdarroch, Deadwater Fell is a captivating forensic dissection of two relationships: trusted GP Tom Kendrick (Tennant) and his beloved wife who works as a local elementary school teache, Kate (Anna Madeley, Patrick Melrose, The Crown, Utopia), schoolteacher Jess Milner (Jumbo) and police sergeant Steve Campbell (Matthew McNulty, Versailles, Cleaning Up, The Terror). Kendrick (Tennant) is a trusted, admired and well-liked member of the community and a doting father of three little girls, a seemingly loving husband whose marriage to Kate (Madeley) seems perfect. But on one night, the illusion of happiness and contentment is shattered when the community is drawn to Kate and Tom as their house in the woods were swallowed by flickering fire and the smell of smoke. Amid the confusion, Kate and her children are found dead, and Tom, found unconscious in his bed, is rushed to the hospital. As more suspicious details from that night emerge, Jess – who is Kate’s best friend and closest confidant – becomes desperate to understand what could have led to such a tragedy, and what secrets lay at the root of this horrific act.

Deadwater Fell Season 2: Release Date
‘Deadwater Fell’ season 1 premiered on Monday, April 6, 2020, on Acorn TV. It consists of 4 episodes of one hour each. Following a weekly release format, the show was concluded on 27 April 2020. Ahead of its US premiere, the show is released in the UK on 10 January 2020, on Channel 4. Here, it concluded on 31 January 2020.
‘Deadwater Fell’ was originally conceptualized as a miniseries. the first season managed to answer all of the questions even though its conclusion left fans disappointed. According to viewers, the ending was too straightforward. Unfortunately, Deadwater Fell ended its first season on Acorn TV (Balthazar) and the creators will not be continuing Deadwater Fell for a second season.

Anna Madeley won’t likely to return as she plays Kate who was killed in series one. However, if the second series is a prequel or includes a flashback, then she is expected to star if series two sees a returning cast, it will include:
