Another Fox’s adult animated series and has successfully released two seasons, will we ever get to see Duncanville season 3?
First premiered in February 2020 on Fox Entertainment (The Simpsons), Duncanville is a very light and easy to watch comedy animated show.
Created by Mike Scully, Amy Poehler, and Julie Scully, Duncanville follows the story of a teenage boy named Duncan who lives his teenage life with unique people around him. Not only focuses on him, this TV series also pictures his mother (a parking officer), his dad who wants to be the perfect father for his kids, his 12 years old sister who is also turning into a teenager, and his 5 years old Asian adopted sister.
This series receives mixed review, where some audience likes the story and sees it as a funny comedy sitcom. While others feel like the humor is predictable, the story is so flat and nothing special, and it is kind of boring.
IMDB gives this show 6.1 out 10 scores, while Rotten Tomatoes gives it 91% critics review and 55% average audience score, a clear proof how it receives mixed reviews.
Anyway, the only way for you to find out is to see it and judge it yourself, considering how subjective the judgment of this series might be.

When Will Duncanville Season 3 be Released?
Although Fox has green lit Duncanville season 3, they haven’t announced the official release date. The creators, however, confirmed on April 6, 2020 that Duncanville season 3 will be renewed, even before the season two was released.
That being said, looking at the previous seasons’ release date schedule, we can predict that Duncanville season 3 will be out in the first quarter of 2022. Let’s hope that the pandemic and everything else do not delay the filming process and thus the release date.
What Will Happen in Duncanville Season 3?
Being a classic sitcom, Duncanville will retain a concept in which every episode will have different plot. For example, one episode will tell the story of the family going to a vacation while other about Duncan who tries to learn how to drive a car.
President of Fox Entertainment Michael Thorn praised Amy Poehler’s talent in the past two seasons, where he feels like Duncanville successfully relives his teen years wrapped in a comedy. That’s why he is really looking forward to see Duncanville season 3.
In the next season, it will basically still picture the live of Duncan and his dysfunctional family living their life with unique and funny stories. There will also be his crush and friends such as Bex, Yangzi, and Wolf, as well as their teacher Mr. Mitch.
Who Will be in Duncanville Season 3?
So who will appear in Duncanville season 3?
The next season will still show the same cast as its previous seasons. That includes Amy Poehler as Duncan and his mother Annie, Ty Burrell as his father Jack, Riki Lindhome as his sister Kimberly, and Joy Osmanski as his adopted Asian youngest sister Jing.
There are other supporting cast as well, such as Yassir Lester as Yangzi, Betsy Sodaro as Bex, Zach Cherry as Wolf, Rashida Jones as Mia, as well as Wiz Khalifa as Mr. Mitch who is also probably the most responsible person in their town.
In season 2, there is an additional cast, the toddler Lil’ Joey who is expected to reappear in Duncanville season 3. Looking at the previous season, there is a chance that there will be new characters as well in the next season.
