The show tells the story of America’s birth as a superpower through the ups and downs of a Texas oil empire.

The Son Season 3: Release Date
AMC has officially canceled the tv series. Season 2 of The Son will be the final season. AMC has no plans for next season, but we can never be sure. As of November 2021, a third season has not yet been planned or scheduled.
The creators say that the second installment is the final season of “The Son.” They also added that the second season had ten episodes that is enough to cover every part of the story they wanted to tell the audience.
The main reason behind the cancellation of the show was never revealed by them. But, it is believed that they had no more ideas which led them to they decide to discontinue the show. In addition, the novel (from which it was inspired from) only has two stories.
