Every month, Sony PlayStation Plus subscribers can boast about receiving several free games. Like Epic Games Store and its weekly deals, the Japanese giant distributes titles that go on both PS4 and PS5. And like many months before it, August’s would barely leak its wares.
Free PS Plus Game for August 2021
In June and July, the PlayStation Plus had already been the victim of leaks. Among insiders and anonymous postings on U.S. forums, Sony is no exception. Worse, for this August 2021, the error is internal. And for good reason, it is directly through the official US site that PlayStation Plus has revealed the identity of its free games for next month. As a reminder, all PlayStation Plus subscribers can get their hands on it at no additional cost. Games that, once added to your library, remain there for life.
For next month, Sony wants to offer its loyal subscribers not two games, but three. Two PS4 games and one “bonus” game on PS5, enough to fully satisfy owners of one of the manufacturer’s most in-demand next-gen consoles. As for the games, they will be available from Tuesday, August 3. As for their hypothetical arrivals, knowing that the information comes from the official PlayStation site, it is difficult to see a joke rather than a gaffe. So, you can recover for free: Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville (PS4), Tennis World Tour 2 (PS4) and Hunter’s Arena: Legends (PS5).
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighbourville (PS4)
In this game of the famous tower defense saga, you will have to take “your blowgun and the chaos of the battlefield disappear as the tension spreads beyond Neighborville to new regions and free play in the boundaries of this township in dispute.. ” A title launching in 2019 in which “players can compete against each other in various competitive multiplayer modes” across “multiple open areas for players to explore, find collectibles and complete quests.”
Tennis World Tour 2 (PS4)
Take over tennis courts around the world in Tennis World Tour 2, a game in which you can “climb the global rankings as one of the best players in the world, or create your own athlete to compete against your friends locally or online.” You will understand, whether alone or with others, you will have to handle your racket like a pro to get rid of the best tennis players in the world. It’s up to you to see if you can do it.
Hunter Arena: Legends
Finally, the third game offered is none other than Hunter Arena: Legends on PlayStation 5. Nothing surprising here, the trailer announced its arrival on PlayStation Plus earlier this month. A game not yet released, but already offered, which should allow players to control one of the 17 hunters at their disposal. It’s up to you to take on the surrounding wildlife, as well as the other players, to achieve victory. A title that will eventually find an audience on next-gen consoles when it launches.
