Chloe is an upcoming psychological thriller series that brings together some of Britain’s biggest young names to tell a mystery and explores society’s obsession with social media.
BC announced the cast and revealed that the show has started shooting in Bristol.
Chloe is in the works for BBC One and Amazon Prime Video, and first-look images have just been released. The thriller series follows a woman obsessed with social media influencers who seem to have the perfect life.

What is Chloe Series About?
Chloe was created by Alice Seabright and the six-episode series follows Becky Green, a girl who has been watching Chloe Fairbourne for some time.
Chloe seems to have the perfect life on social media as she has a loving husband and a large circle of influencer friends.
Becky uses Chloe as an escape from her own life. Becky spends most of her time caring for her mother who suffers from early dementia.
She lives in a small seaside flat on the outskirts of Bristol, far away from Chloe. When Chloe dies unexpectedly, Becky takes on a new persona and infiltrates Chloe’s circle of friends to find out what happened to her.
New photos from the series show Becky and her alter ego, Sasha. She uses her new identity to approach Livia and the rest of Chloe’s friends to find out what really happened.
The star of the series has shared the first look photo on their Instagram page and fans are already expressing their excitement.
Chloe Release Date
The series is set in Bristol and will consist of six one-hour episodes. The show will be available to viewers in both the US and UK. American fans can watch the show via Prime Video (Flack Season 3).
In the UK, the episode will be broadcasted on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Apart from that, the show will be broadcasted in over 240 countries.
The psychological thriller is expected to premiere in 2022, although an official release date has yet to be confirmed. Filming is currently underway, so the series is expected to arrive in the first half of next year.
Chloe Cast: Who’s In It?
We know that Erin Doherty (The Crown), Billy Howle (The Serpent), Pippa Bennett-Warner (Gangs of London), Jack Farthing (Poldark), Poppy Gilbert (Stay Close), Akshay Khanna (Grace), Brandon Michael Hall (Search Party), and newcomer Alexander Eliot will all be participating in this new mystery series.
Chloe Plot Storyline
Chloe has been described as “a mystery of obsession, deception, identity and grief”. It follows Becky (Erin Doherty) a young woman who still lives with her mother. She works as a part-time worker and lives her life through the seemingly perfect life of a social media influencer. Becky becomes obsessed with Chloe’s (Poppy Gilbert) Instagram account.
When her idol suddenly dies, Becky adopts a new identity as “Sasha” to infiltrate Chloe’s circle of friends and uncover what happened to the social media starl. As the alter-ego “Sasha”, Becky becomes a larger-than-life heroine living a much more interesting life. Will Becky lose herself completely in the game she plays? Only time will tell…
Seabright said: “Becky is a complex and courageous heroine and there is no one better to play her than Erin. All of these characters have been a dream to write about, and now it feels like they’ve found their soulmate in our amazing cast. I can’t wait to start bringing the show to life with them our amazing crew.”
The show is set to take full advantage of the Bristol setting, as the show will feature artwork from local artists from the region and original scores from Will Gregory (half of the electronic music dup, Goldfrapp).
Is There Any Trailer for Chloe Season 1?
As the first-look images have just been released, there is no trailer for now.
BBC and Prime Video (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5) will most likely release teasers a few weeks before the new series is released.With this in mind, we may have to wait until mid-2022 for the video to be revealed.
