Will there ever be Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They Season 2? Is it renewed or canceled?
‘Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They’ is an anime series that falls under the action, comedy, fantasy, and supernatural genres. The story follows three extraordinary teenagers who hold physic powers: Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kudou, and You Kasukabe. They were transported into another world and were greeted by Kurousagi upon arriving.
The anime series ‘Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They’ is an adaptation based on a light novel of the same name written by Tarou Tatsunoko with illustrations by Yuu Amano. As of April 1, 2015, the novel series has stopped publishing more volumes and ends on the twelfth. The anime adaptation is animated by Diomedea, the studio that is best known for its anime release Domestic Girlfriend and Aho Girl.
Not only anime adaptation, but the series also has a manga adaptation that is also based on the light novel under the same title. Illustrated by Rio Nanamomo, the manga series began serialization in Comp Ace on Jul 26, 2012. The manga series has come to an end on Jan 25, 2014, marked by the release of the fourth volume. The main series also comes with a spin-off manga (added the letter ‘Z’ at the end of the title) illustrated by Anri Sakano. It was published in Age Premium and ran for a total of only three volumes before concluding October 9, 2013.
Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They Season 2 Renewal Status
The anime series ‘Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They’ was first aired on January 12, 2013, and ran for ten episodes before concluding on March 16 of the same year. It was followed by the release of a single ova episode on Jul 20, 2013. After its release, many of the fans are craving a sequel. So, will ‘Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They’ Season 2 get renewed?
As of now, we haven’t received any words regarding Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They Season 2. We don’t know whether the anime series will be renewed or canceled.
Is Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They Season 2 possible?
In terms of the availability of the source material, the anime series has more than enough source material for a season renewal. The first season has only covered the first two out of twelve volumes of the light novel. Furthermore, the author has already made a sequel to the main series of the novel called ‘Last Embryo‘. That said, Problem Children Are Coming from Another World Aren’t They Season 2 might be possible.
However, the availability of the source material would not matter, as the anime series was made by Diomedea only to boost the source. With the light novel already coming to an end, it would not be necessary for Diomedea to make a season renewal, although the novel got a huge amount of boost from the adaptation.
The anime might get a season renewal if they adapt the ongoing novel sequel, but it would not be favorable as they would have to cover the rest of the main novel that the main novel didn’t get to cover. Also, it’s Diomedea we’re talking about here, the studio that rarely makes a sequel to their anime series. One of their anime release called Ahiru no Sora has to go through the same fate as it has yet to receive a sequel.
