As part of the concert Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 3rd Live! School Festival “Yume no Hajimari” was confirmed today, that the anime series Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club will continue with a second season.

So far, it is only known that the Love Live Nijigasaki Academy Season 2 will be broadcast on Japanese television over the course of next year. Concrete details about the participants as well as a start date are still pending and are to be announced at a later date.
The 13-part first season of “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club” was directed by Tomoyuki Kawamura (“Mitsuboshi Colors”) in the studio SUNRISE (Code Geass), which has already been used for the previous Love Live! series was responsible. Jin Tanaka took over the series composition.
