A new visual has been released today on the official website of the anime adaptation of “Peach Boy Riverside” and you can watch it below.
Anime Starts in July 2021
Director Shigeru Ueda (“Fairytale Girl”) is responsible for the production of “Peach Boy Riverside” at Studio Asahi Production. Keiichirou Oochi (“Hinamatsuri”) takes over the series composition, while Satomi Kurita and Masato Katou contribute the character design and Takaaki Nakahashi composes the music. The Japanese TV launch is scheduled for July 2021.
The film stars Sally and Mikoto, played by Haruka Shiraishi (Kirie in “Himouto! Umaru-chan” and Nao Touyama (Lacia in “Beatless”). Other roles will include Ms. Masuda as a woman, Toshiki Masuda as Hawthorn Grattor, Megumi Toda as Carrot and Jirou Saitou as a dog.
The manga series “Peach Boy Riverside” is a remake of Coolkyoushinja’s webcomic of the same name, which has been published in “Shounen Magazine R” since August 2015. Kodansha has so far traded eight volumes in Japanese trade.

Sarutorine Aldike, also known as Sally, is an awakened, cheerful princess who wants to get on an adventure because she gets bored of her tiny castle in the countryside. One day Oni, evil demons, appear and threaten the lives of all the people in the kingdom. As chance would have it, at the same time the lonely traveller Kibitsu Mikoto appears, who beats the monsters with her mysterious “Peach Eye” and saves the people.
Shocked by the dangers of the outside world, Sally decides to go on her own journey. But then she did not know that it would set in motion a chain of events that determine the fate of this magical world.
