Secret of Sulphur Springs Season 3: Potential Release Date
‘Secrets of Sulfur Springs’ season 2 was released on January 14, 2022, on the Disney Channel. It ended on February 25, 2022, consists of eight episodes in total, with a runtime of 21-26 minutes each.
Well, here’s what we can reveal about season 3! on February 7, 2022, the Disney Channel officially renewed the show for a third season during the Television Critics Association’s Winter Press Tour. While no release date has yet been announced by the creators, production will likely begin in the upcoming months.
The time it takes for the third installment to arrive on our screens depends on several factors such as smooth and hassle-free production, cast and crew availability, and the time required for post-production. What’s more, since seasons 1 and 2 premiered a year later, it’s possible for a third season to follow a similar release pattern. Therefore, taking into account all the points above, ‘Secret of the Sulfur Spring’ season 3 is expected to arrive in Q1 2023.
Secret of Sulphur Springs Season 3: Expected Cast
Season three will see Preston Oliver and Kyliegh Curran returning to their respective roles as Griffin and Harper, two adventurous young friends. Curran will next play Daisy Tremont, Harper’s great-grandmother, as a young teenager. Elle Graham is also expected to return as Savannah, the duo’s supernatural friend. Additionally, Madeleine McGraw and Landon Gordon will appear as Zoey and Wyatt, Griffin’s twin sister, and Josh Braaten as their father, Bennett.
Other cast members likely to return to their roles include Kelly Frye (Sarah), Diandra Lyle (Jessica), Johari Washington (Topher), Robert Manning Jr. (Elijah), Ethan Hutchinson and Eugene Byrd (Sam; Sam grew up in 1962), Jillian Batherson (Caroline), and Jim Gleason (Bennett Campbell Sr.). Furthermore, new cast members can be introduced as new characters to explore the storyline further.
Secret of Sulphur Springs Season 3: Expected Plot
In season 2 of ‘Secrets of Sulfur Springs’, Griffin, Harper and Savannah discover that the real ghost haunting The Tremont is Daisy, Harper’s lookalike great-grandmother. He not only haunts the hotel in the present but also causes trouble for Savannah in 1962. Thus, his three friends decide to follow him and travel back to the 1930s to find out more about the Harper family’s relationship with The Tremont. However, the crystal that powers the time machine is accidentally released, and Harper is trapped in the 1930s. She meets Daisy’s brother, Sam and father, Elijah.
Meanwhile, Daisy is trapped in the present, and she and Harper struggle to take on each other’s identities. Elsewhere, Griffin begins his search for crystals, and Zoey and Wyatt begin their own investigation of ghosts with Topher’s help. Sam meets Savannah in the 1962 timeline, and he helps her with the Time Machine, which he uses to travel to the future.
On the other hand, Harper finds injustice in her family in the past and how their land was taken. Daisy and Griffin finally find the crystal and rush into the time machine, and Harper returns to the present. She told Griffin everything she had learned about Tremont’s history. At the end of the cliffhanger season 2, the Harper and Griffin families prepare to welcome visitors back to the hotel, while the two discover that the crystal is about to be destroyed and stop the Time Machine.
Season 3 will most likely pick up from here and reveal whether Time Machine was discontinued or not. This will further document Griffin and Harper’s efforts to save the crystal as well as link the Tremont family’s past with the present. Other story arcs that will be expanded include the implications of Sam’s future visits on everyone, whether Savannah decides to follow him or not, as well as what happens after the hotel reopens in the present.
