Is there any news about Seton Academy Season 2?
Seton Academy is a comedy anime that revolves around the school theme, but not just any regular school, it’s a school of diverse animal species.
The anime series is adapted from a manga under the same title that is written and illustrated by Bungo Yamashita. The manga series has been serialized online by Cygames in the Cycomi manga app and it has been collected in seven tankōbon (independent) volumes. It was previously published by Kodansha, before completely switching to Shogakukan.
Currently, there are a total of 6 volumes that have been published for the manga series Murenase! Seton Gakuen. However, after the 6th volume, the manga series has stopped publishing physical volumes and continued with digital volume releases with rebranded title by adding ‘Animal Academy’. Currently, Murenase! Shiiton Gakuen -Animal Academy- has run for 8 volumes. So, in total, you could say that the whole manga series has about 14 volumes as of today.
The anime adaptation is produced by Studio Gokumi, the studio that is well known for its most popular anime release Tsurezure Children.
Seton Academy Season 2 Release Date
The first season of Seton Academy was premiered on January 7, 2020, before finally concluding with 12 episodes on March 24 of the same year. It was followed by the release of a single special episode on July 3, 2020. As the special episode ended on a cliffhanger, many of the fans are craving for Seton Academy Season 2 to see the continuation from it. So, when will Seton Academy Season 2 be released?
As of now, we haven’t received any information from the author nor the studio about the release date of Seton Academy Season 2. However, theoretically speaking, the anime series might get a second season, but not in the near future. The reason is that currently, the source material is not enough for a season renewal. The first season had covered the first 59 chapters from the manga, while the ongoing manga series Murenase! Shiiton Gakuen -Animal Academy- is currently sitting at around the 100th volume.
Also, to be fair, the anime series has a decent score of 7.05 in MyAnimeList as of today, and the mass amount of enthusiasts from the fans could guarantee Seton Academy Season 2.
So, at the end of the day, we might have to wait a little longer in order for the source material to run more chapters for a season renewal, maybe a year or so. Fans should expect to see the announcement of Seton Academy Season 2 sometime around 2022 at the earliest.

Seton Academy Action
The story revolves around Jin Mazama, a human male who happens to study in a school of diverse animal species, but ironically, he hates animals from the bottom of his heart. One day, he met a small lone wolf girl without a pack named Ranka Ookami. Feeling lonely, Ranka invites Jin into joining her pack, only to get immediately rejected by Jin.
Soon, Jin fell in love with the only female human in the school named Hitomi Hino the moment he lays his eyes on her. After getting to know each other well, both of them decide to make a cooking club, but after a series of bad-blooded misunderstandings, Ranka soon joins the club as well.
