Blue Exorcist is a manga series. The writer and illustrator is Kazue Kato. It’s a dark fantasy genre series with memorable battle scenes. There are 26 volumes published in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazines from April 2009 to December 2020.
Viz media licensed this manga for a North American production, and Aniplex of America has also released the DVDs later; this was adapted into an anime television series produced by A-1 Pictures.
Blue Exorcist is an anime based on Rin Okumura’s life, a teenager who comes to know that he and his twin brother Yukio are sons of a devil father and a human mother. He is the inheritor of Satan’s powers. There are two anime seasons and a blue exorcist: film.
The universe of Blue Exorcists is made up of two dimensions that have been merged into one. One of the dimensions is Assiah, which is where humans dwell. The kingdom of demons, also known as Gehenna, is the other. Demons can fly into Assiah by possessing something that is currently present there. Satan, on the other hand, is unable to find any hosts strong enough to hold him. So he formulated a solution to the dilemma.
Blue Exorcist Synopsis
The season starts when Rin finds out that he is Satan’s son and vows to become an Exorcist. He then starts his journey and gets trained in True Cross Academy. The anime then follows the hi-jinks of Rin as he follows his brother. The story follows their small side stories as most shonen do. Things get shaken up when Rin goes into war and cannot control his demonic power. Rin is put on trial because of his chaotic outburst, but a Paladin Exorcist named Mephisto saves him by proclaiming that Rin is the ultimate weapon for countering Satan. Rin is then forced to train and master the power of his demonic flames.
The season’s final plot line begins with the twin’s grandfather Ernst using Rin’s blood to open a path to Gehenna. The Exorcists seek to defeat the ghosts for good in the opening scene. Hordes of demons pour forth from the doorway, and Satan turns into a massive Gehenna Gate, intending to swallow the entire human race. In order to defeat the demons, Rin and Yukio must use their strong demon abilities, and they save the human race; after a gap of one month, they visit their mother’s grave and then return to exorcist life. The season ends at Volume 9, chapter 14.
Blue Exorcist Season 2 Synopsis
Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga It picks up right after Rin is put on probation after Grigori discovers he is the devil’s son. His brother is as cold to him as he has always been, but it is to protect Rin. His classmates are less forgiving or forgetful of his status as devil’s/satan son because some of their family members die because of Satan, and some of them get jealous of the ability to fight back despite facing so many obstacles. The Impure King’s Left and Right Eyes are the season’s core storylines. What follows is a sequence of events that leads to the reunion of the classmates.
This season is split into 2 parts, which is fairly typical for an Aniplex release. You also get Japanese original audio and English dubbed, textless opening and closing. The season ends at Volume 9, chapter 34. The series ended in 2017.
Blue Exorcist Season 3 Release date
Blue Exorcist Season 3 Release date: As from the studio A-1 Pictures (“ERASED Season 2, Darling in the FranXX, Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3“), there is no official confirmation of the release of Blue Exorcist season 3.
As season 2 has taken a long 6 years to come. But, most of the fans are waiting for the next part and predicted that the anime would return in mid-2022.
Still, there is no official plotline released, but there’s plenty of material from the manga that Blue Exorcist season 3 could cover; it may cover the next 4 or 5 volumes. It has been predicted that Blue Exorcist season 3 will begin from the 35th chapter of the manga, which makes a point of “Illuminati Arc. “At the end of Season 2, Rin and the crew make their way back to Kyoto.
The story will continue from here with another one of those quintessential shounen beach episodes. But as we know, with good light-hearted scenes, there will be some negative stories in the background. An Illuminati conspiracy group led by Lucifer, the king of light, will start emerging, and of course, they want to resurrect Satan and unleash demons upon the world, so it’s clearly known that it is up to Rin and his twin brother to stop this.
