Crunchyroll recently announced that the streaming service will also be featured on the PlayStation 5 with a suitable Crunchyroll App. This appears at the same time as the console is launched and is therefore available to anime fans worldwide on the first day.

The Sony PlayStation 5 will go on sale in the USA and Japan on November 19, 2020. In some other countries, including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, this will be available from November 12, 2020. The new console will be available as a standard model with a disc drive and as a fully digital version without a disc drive.
In addition to Crunchyroll, Netflix, YouTube, Disney +, Apple TV and Twitch are also available directly at the launch of the PlayStation 5. Other streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video are to follow at a later date.
The console is currently out of stock at most retailers.
