Even before the final episode of “Rail Romanesque” airs next Friday, it was announced today that the series will receive a second season. Fittingly, a new character has been introduced, which you can see below. More details are yet to be released.
Rail Romanesque Series at Crunchyroll in Simulcast
The twelve-part first season of “Rail Romanesque” was directed by Hisayoshi Hirasawa (“Netsuzou Trap -NTR-“) at Studio Saetta. Koichi Motomura wrote the script, while AYUMI ONE was responsible for the music. Takayuki Noguchi contributed the character design.
The anime is based on the visual novel “Maitetsu: Pure Station” which was released in January 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The prequel “Maitetsu” has been available in Japan since March 2016. A release in the West took place in June 2018.
