On the official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of “Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro” (Japanese: “Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san”) a trailer was released today, in which the 10th of April 2021 is mentioned as the concrete start date of the series. The video can be found below.
Anime is Created at Telecom Animation Film
The anime adaptation of the manga series “Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro” is produced under the direction of Hirokazu Hanai (Assistant Director at “Tower of God”) at Studio Telecom Animation Film. Taku Kishimoto (“Erased“) writes the screenplay, while Misaki Suzuki contributes the character design and gin from BUSTED ROSE composes the music.
The two main roles will feature Sumire Uesaka (Kana Kojima in “Why the hell are you here, Teacher!”), who also sings the opening, as Nagatoro-san and Daiki Yamashita (Izuku Midoriya in “My Hero Academia”) as Senpai.
The original manga was written by Nanashi (774) and has been published in the “Magazine Pocket” since November 2017. The Japanese publisher Kodansha has so far published ten volumes. An English translation is published by Vertical Comics.
