On the official website of the anime adaptation of “LBX Girls” (jap.: “Soukou Musume Senki”) a new trailer was released today, with which you get some new insights into the anime. The video, which introduces the opening song “Dream hopper” by Rikako Aida, can be found below.
LBX Girls Anime launches in January 2021
Studio A-CAT is responsible for the production of “LBX Girls”, directed by Keitaro Motonaga (“Date A Live“). Yasuyuki Muto (“Deadman Wonderland”) writes the script and Kumi Horii (“Infinite Stratos 2”) contributes to the character design. The music is composed by Go Sakabe (“Date A Live”).
The series will be broadcast on Japanese television from 6 January 2021. New episodes are released every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
The anime is based on the online RPG “Soukou Musume” of Level 5, which was first released for pc in January 2018. A relaunch for mobile devices took place in the summer of 2019.

Five young girls have to give up their ordinary lives and slip into a tactical combat suit called the “LBX Unit” – they are the “armored girls”. The mission of the girls selected for this transformation is the annihilation and extermination of the mimesis, a metallic form of life that inexorably falls over the multiverse eats it, and reproduces.
Forced to cross space and time and to live as mercenaries, the girls set off on an excursion in which they catch a glimpse of the hopes and sufferings of the worlds, using their lives.
