Madoka Magica Movie 4 is in production announced by the Producer. As part of an event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise, it was announced that the series will receive a sequel film. You can see a first teaser and a visual later in this article.

The new screen reader is titled “Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten” and is described as an official sequel to “Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie Part 3: Rebellion”. However, it is not yet known when this will be released.
The production of the sequel is once again being produced by Studio SHAFT, (Nisekoi) with Akiyuki Shinbou again serving as Chief Director. Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus writes the script, while Junichirou Taniguchi adapts Ume Aoki’s character design for animation. Yuki Kajiura takes care of the musical accompaniment again. Magica Quartet is listed as a creator as in the series and previous movies. The Japanese voice actors known from the previous works also participate in the sequel.

The twelve-part series Puella Magi Madoka Magica ran in Japan between January and April 2011. Two compilation films were released in October 2012 and a sequel film was released in October 2013. Universe Anime (today LEONINE Anime) released the series and the third film on disc. The spin-off anime Magia Record has been licensed by Funimation and peppermint anime.

Madoka Kaname is a normal student. Until one day she meets Homura Akemi, a new classmate, and Kyubey, a magical being. Kyubey explains to Madoka and her friend Sayaka Miki that he can fulfill their every wish. In return, however, they would have to become “magical girls”, magicians who hunt evil witches to help people.
While Homura warns them about this pact, they get deeper and deeper into the world of magical girls and the doom-monass and begin to understand what it means to be a Magical Girl. Because they not only live dangerously, but also very lonely.
