Kate realizes that the recording has been deleted from Matheus’s cloud during the discussion between James (Dimitri Leonidas) and Rebecca. They find out that it was plausible to have more than one match.
After several lives were lost, the season closed with Rebecca tending to the crowd of people, revealing to them that she still holds a mystery that needs to be shared.
If The One Season 2 really airs, we will get to know the mystery that Rebecca has to reveal to the public. We will also find out whether the revelation will reveal the reason for the initiation of matchmaking breaking, also possibly revealing the possibility of having more than one match.
In an interview hosted by BBC.com, John Marrs, author of The One, explained that he gave The Misfits creator Howard Overman to take over the story they wanted to bring.
“It’s totally up to the production company what they want to do with it,” Marrs said. “They can freely change the locations, characters, or anything they want to.”
Of course, this makes fans of the series dying to know more and explore interesting and different things in DNA matchmaking from the original source material.
The One Season 2 Cast: Who Will Play?
As for the cast in The One Season 2, Netflix (Real Steel) has not officially confirmed. However, if the show returns for season 2, fans are hoping that most of the original cast from season one returns to play in season two. Some of them are Hannah Ware, Dimitri Leonidas, Diarmaid Murtagh, Zoe Tapper, Lois Chimimba, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Jana Perez, and Stephen Campbell Moore.
Another possibility is that we could also see some new characters being added to the mix in an attempt to continue developing the plot that was told in the first season.
The One Season 2 Release Date: When Will it Air?
So far, Netflix (Now You See Me) hasn’t announced the possibility of The One Season 2. But since it’s Netflix style, even with popular hit series like The Sinner or Riverdale, streamer executives are willing to wait at least a month to book a season for both of the popular shows. Coinciding with this, The One has stayed in the US streaming Top 10 chart on Netflix (365 Days) for several days since the first day of its premiere. This could increase the likelihood that The One Season 2 will take place.
As a result, fans can still hope for The One Season 2 to come out soon. The first season is already airing on March 12, 2021, there is a possibility that The One Season 2 could arrive on Netflix (Too Hot To Handle) in early 2022. Our best bet is The One Season 2 will air between January 2022 or March 2022. However, this all depends on the timeline of Netflix (Ragnarok) updates and production.
