It’s up to them to defeat the sinister creatures and save the world, becoming the badass heroes they want to be. That is, if they could survive the horrors of high school.
The show is written by Noelle Stehman and Betsy Van Stone, who are executive producers along with Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron, and Samantha Levine. Blue Ice Pictures will produce the show.

Assigned to solve their own terrifying problems, the two girls take on the roles of heroes—but only if they can get past the “horror” of high school.
Deadline recently reported on Stehman and Van Stone’s comments regarding the show and cast choices. They stated that they hoped the different characterizations of the two girls would “remind us that heroes come from all walks of life.” The two also praised the casting of Morrison and Aucoin, and that they “can’t wait to see these talented actresses take on the roles of Astrid and Lilly to save the world!”

Astrid & Lilly’s 10-episode Save the World premieres on SYFY January 26, 2022, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, following the season 2 premiere of Resident Alien.
