The Danish series tells a future story entwined with science fiction elements. It’s about young Emma, who always feels like an outsider in the small town of Middelbo. Her hometown had become famous 17 years earlier when it was hit by a meteorite. When Emma accidentally discovers that the meteorite story is a lie, a dangerous truth begins to unfold about the city, something far more extraordinary and threatening than Emma could have ever imagined. With her new discovery, Emma realizes that she is alone and that she doesn’t have the friends or community to support her that she so desperately needs right now.
