Netflix take on The King: Eternal Monarch Season 2
The last time we checked, the status was pending regarding the update on the renewal status for The King: Eternal Monarch Season 2 . However, since this k drama is stated to be Netflix (To The Lake) Original, we can expect updates and hikes from the Netflix team, but this isn’t originally produced by them, therefore their say doesn’t add up to it. Cast Popularity
The cast gave away some mind-blowing performances throughout the drama which has sufficed the drama to get through even though the critics were rather censorious regarding the plot and structure of the drama. The drama ran into many controversies as they pushed certain unwanted gender stereotypes which upset the drama society. Even though the Republic of Korea in the drama was shown from a modern-day perspective, many Japanese fans had complained of the lookalike to their heritage and complaints were made regarding the disrespect. Some of the netizens blamed the author for repeating the rich man poor girl tropes which enforce cliches and dismisses one’s interest in the suspense. All these couldn’t disrupt the setting of the drama as the episodes made it interesting each week due to the stellar performance of the actors. We would expect the same actors for a comeback as this was the first drama of Lee Min Ho’s after his military discharge.
