As part of the “Jump Festa” event, it was announced that the manga series Platinum End by the Death Note duo Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba will receive an anime adaptation.
Platinum End Anime Release Date
The series is directed by Hideya Takahashi (“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind”) in Studio Signal.MD (“Mars Red, Dragon Goes House-Hunting“). Shinichi Inotsume (“PERSONA 5 the Animation”) is responsible for the series composition, while Koji Odate (“No Game No Life“) contributes to the character design. Masanori Ikeda is the CGI director and Takatoshi Hamano is the sound director.
Platinum End Anime 24-episode adaptation, will start from October 7, 2021.
The original manga series by author Tsugumi Ohba and artist Takeshi Obata, who have already published “Death Note” and “Bakuman.” together, was published in a total of 14 volumes from November 2015 to January 2021.
The leading role of Mirai Kakehashi is set to sound by Miyu Irino (Ritsu Kageyama in “Mob Psycho 100”). Yui Ogura (Onna Shinkan in “Goblin Slayer”) lends her voice to the angel Nasse.
The streaming provider Crunchyroll also announced that it has secured the license to the upcoming Battle Royal anime “Platinum End” and will show it in Japanese original sound with English subtitles in a simulcast. Platinum End is also one of the most anticipated new Upcoming Anime.

At the last moment, however, the angel wet him and explains to him that everyone has the right to happiness. It equips him with special abilities and gives him the chance to give his life meaning again.
