Shaman King 2021 Release Date
The anime reboot is directed by Joji Furuta (“The Seven Deadly Sins“) at Studio Bridge. Shoji Yonemura (“Wave, Listen to Me!”) writes the script, while Satohiko Sano (“Talentless Nana”) contributes the character design. Yuki Hayashi (“My Hero Academia“) composes the music. The opening and ending song is sung by Megumi Hayashibara.
The main character Yoh Asakura is set to music by Yoko Hikasa, who is known as Rias Gremory from “HighSchool DxD“, while Amidamaru, Anna Kyoyama and Hao Asakur are spoken as before by Katsuyuki Konishi, Megumi Hayashibara and Minami Takayama.
The new “Shaman King” anime will launch on Japanese television in April 2021 and will adapt all 35 volumes of the Complete Edition of the manga, which includes new chapters and a different ending. This version of Hiroyuki Takei’s series is published in this country by TOKYOPOP as a 2-in-1 edition. The first anime adaptation, consisting of 64 episodes and based on the original version of the manga, was directed by Seiji Mizushima in-studio XEBEC and was released in Japan between July 2001 and September 2002. In this country, the series was broadcast on cable one.
