Almost two weeks ago anime reported that “Super Dragon Ball Heroes” will receive a special episode. In the meantime, those responsible have confirmed the release date of the episode, which will celebrate its premiere as part of an online event.
Other characters take center stage
Said event will take place on November 15, 2020 in the form of a live stream on the official YouTube channel of “Super Dragon Ball Heroes”. With Masako Nozawa (Son-Goku), Ryo Horikawa (Vegeta), Takeshi Kusao (Future Trunks) and Kappei Yamaguchi (Fuu) some speakers from the anime series are also present as guests of honor.
In the special, which is titled “Get to the battlefield quickly! Dragon Ball Heroes !!”, the characters of the “Heroes” game take center stage. Thus, for the first time, the main characters of the series are in the focus of the story, which players select at the beginning of the arcade game. In the synopsis of the episode it says:
“It’s the 10th anniversary of Dragon Ball Heroes! This is a special episode that features the avatars of the heroes who have been with you over these 10 years! The ›Heroes‹ avatars have finally reached a higher super-level near the ultra-instinct (omen). Challenge yourselves to even fiercer battles with these heroes who will never stop getting stronger! “
The arcade game “Dragon Ball Heroes”, which was renamed “Super Dragon Ball Heroes” after a comprehensive update, was created by the Dimps development studio. The Japanese publisher Shueisha has already published various manga series based on the game. The accompanying anime series is created in the Toei Animation studio (One Piece).
