The Japanese publisher Kadokawa announced today that the light novel “The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat” (Japanese: “Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru”) will receive an anime adaptation.
Anime Starts in July 2021
The series is directed by Masafumi Tamura (“The Misfit of Demon King Academy“) at Silver LINK (“A Chivalry of a Failed Knight“) and Palette. Katsuhiko Takayama (“Baka & Test”, “Boku no Pico”) takes over the series composition, while Eri Nagata (“Ensemble Stars!”) contributes the character design. The Japanese TV launch is scheduled for July 2021.
“The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat” is written by Rui Tsukiyo (“Redo of Healer”) and has been published by Syosetu since February 2019 with illustrations by Ranicaronica. An English translation is published by Yen Press.
Another light novel by Rui Tsukiyo has already received an anime adaptation with “Redo of Healer”. It is currently being broadcast on Japanese television and will be released on DVD and Blu-ray from 29 October 2021 at AniMoon Publishing. Pre-order is already possible.
