Potterheads will have something to look forward to this New Year: Harry Potter reunion! The year of 2022 apparently will be started with Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, and what could be better?
First premiered in 2001, now Harry Potter will do the 20 years reunion with its Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. Will be screened by NOW and Sky, there will also four-part event which is hosted by Helen Mirren, and will be called Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.
With the original cast as well as the set of Hogwarts, it will bring back the childhood memories for people who grow old with Harry Potter.
The President of Warner Bros’ Global Kids, Young Adults and Classics section Tom Ascheim stated that Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts is a tribute for the people whose life has been touched from this franchise. It is also a tribute for the amazing cast and crew who had made this franchise possible, as well as all the fans who after 20 years still keep the wizarding world spirit alive.
The executive producer, Casey Patterson, also mentioned that the incredible cast will return home to Hogwarts, the very same place where they started their journey 20 years ago.
In the teaser picture of Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, we can see Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are sitting in the Gryffindor common room just like the old times.
Produced by HBO Max, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will be similar to the cast reunion of Friends, which was released on HBO Max as well earlier this year.
In a press release, it is revealed that Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will consist of in-depth interviews and conversations with the cast. It will allow fans to see the journey of Harry Potter from the perspectives of their very own cast and how they successfully turned the magical world into the screen.

As it is announced by the official trailer, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will be out on New Year’s day 2022, which means it will be released on January 1, 2022.
The reunion will be aired on NOW and Sky TV as well as HBO Max.
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts—The Plot and Teaser
As mentioned earlier, the show will pretty much be a reunion for the cast as well as the crew, to be nostalgic about their journey 20 years ago. The format probably will be the same as the Friends reunion, where the cast will share their stories while filming the franchise, as they go through the real set where they shot the movies, including the set in Hollywood Warner Bros Studio.
This reunion means that they all together will appear for the first time since 17 years.

The main cast apparently will return in Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. That includes Daniel Radcliffe who played as Harry Potter, Emma Watson who played as Hermione, and Rupert Grint who played as Ronald Weasley.
The trailers have also revealed the names of other cast that will appear in the reunion as well. They are Tom Felton who played as Draco Malfoy, Matthew Lewis who played as Neville Longbottom, Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley, even Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood.
