On the official website of the anime series “Megalobox” it was announced today that the Megalobox Season 2, entitled “NOMAD Megalobox 2”, will start on Japanese television in April 2021. In addition, a first teaser has been released, which you can find below.
Megalobox Season 2 Release Date
The second season is again directed by You Moriyama at studio TMS Entertainment (Spirit Chronicles, Dr. Stone, ReLIFE, Kamisama Kiss, Rent-A-Girlfriend, Megalo Box and Rent-a-Girlfriend). Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojima are responsible for the scenario, while Ayumi Kurashima (“Devilman: Crybaby”) contributes to the character design. The music is composed by mabanua.
The new episodes will be broadcast on Japanese television from April 2021. The 13-part first season ran in Japan between April and June 2018 and was licensed by polyband anime and released on DVD and Blu-ray with English and Japanese voice output.
All episodes can also be streamed on the VOD provider Netflix.
