On the official website of the anime adaptation of “The Quintessential Quintuplets” (Japanese: “5-toubun no Hanayome”) it was announced today that the Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2 will be broadcast on Japanese television from January. A new trailer has also been released.
Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2 Release Date
The second season is titled “The Quintessential Quintuplets ∫∫” and is directed by Kaori (“Endro”!” at Studio Bibury Animation (“Azur Lane“). Keiichirou Ohchi, who took over this position during the first season, is responsible for the series composition.
Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2 will be broadcast on Japanese television from 7 January 2021.
The 12-part first season was broadcast on Japanese television during the 2019 winter season. The studio Tezuka Productions was responsible for the production. The anime was directed by Satoshi Kuwahara. All episodes are already available at Crunchyroll.
The original manga by Negi Haruba, which serves as a template for the series and is completed with 14 volumes, has been published by Egmont Manga since March 2020.
