As part of a New Year’s special for the anime adaptation of “Fate/Grand Order”, it was announced today that an OVA series entitled “Fate/Grand Carnival” is currently in the works.
OVA will be Released in Summer 2021
“Fate/Grand Carnival” is directed by Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!) in Studio Lerche (Monster Musume, Classroom of The Elite). Makoto Uezu (KonoSuba) writes the script, while Kazuaki Morita (Assassination Classroom) and Tomohito Hirose (Carnival Phantasm) contribute the character design. Yasuharu Takanashi (Log Horizon) and Keita Haga compose the music.
The “first season” of the OVA will be published on 2 June 2021, followed by the “second season” on 25 August 2021. Both “seasons” are intended to offer a running time of 30 minutes each. You can watch a first teaser visual for the announcement below.
“Fate/Grand Carnival” is a comedy spin-off for “Fate/Grand Order”. A first short anime was broadcast on Japanese television today.
