Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone (2001)
The first on this list of Harry Potter movies is Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone or also known as Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone, which was released back in 2001. After its release, it became a huge hit all over the world.
In this movie, they introduce the world of Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe), as Harry is just 11 years old at that time. Being bullied in his aunt’s house, Harry just found out that he is a wizard. He then goes to the magic school Hogwarts, and meets Hermione (played by Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint). In this first movie, Harry also learns about He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named or Lord Voldemort.
Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone is directed by Chris Columbus, and brings a huge potential for the success of Harry Potter movies franchise.
Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets (2002)
In this movie, Harry finds out about the past of Voldemort, after finds a mysterious diary that belongs to Tom Riddle (who later becomes Voldemort).
He then finds the Chamber of Secrets who contains a snake The Serpent of Slytherin named Basilisk, who is placed there by Salazar Slytherin. It can only be controlled by Tom Riddle as the Heir of Slytherin.
In this movie, Harry also finds out that he can speak Parseltongue (the snake language), since the part of Voldemort is in him.
Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
In the third movie, Harry learns that a criminal and presumably a supporter of Voldemort, Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) escapes from the prison of Azkaban. Harry thinks that Sirius tries to kill him, where in fact, Sirius is actually the godfather of Harry.
Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire (2005)
In the fourth movie, there is a Triwizard Tournament in which three magic schools are competing to each other. But don’t get it wrong, the games are very dangerous that it can kill you. At the end of the movie, we can also see how Harry finally has to be in a face-to-face situation with Lord Voldemort.
In this movie, we can also see Robert Pattinson (who is well-known for his role as Edward Cullen in Twilight Saga), who began his film career as Cedrid Diggory.

The final book is broken down into two parts. The first part is about how the trio Harry, Ron, and Hermione try to find and destroy Voldemort’s horcruxes in order to kill him.

Meanwhile in the second part, which is also the last one on the list of Harry Potter movies, Harry finally is able to be in a head-to-head battle with his long enemy, Lord Voldemort.
