On the official website of the upcoming anime implementation of “Combatants Will be Dispatched!” (jap.: “Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!”) it was announced today that the series will launch on Japanese television in April 2021. You can find the first trailer below.

“Combatants Will be Dispatched!” is directed by Hiroaki Akagi (“Not Again, Takagi-san”) in Studio J.C.Staff (How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, Maid-Sama, DanMachi, Golden Time, Toradora, Prison School, Combatants Will Be Dispatched, The Demon Girl Next Door, The Duke of Death and His Maid). Yukie Sugawara (“Overlord“) takes over the series composition, while Takehiro Suwa (“Assault Lily: Bouquet”) contributes the character design. Masato Kouda (“KonoSuba“) composes the music.
The film stars Yuusuke Shirai (Yamato Nikaidou in “IDOLiSH7“) as Sentouin Roku-gou (Combatant No. 6) and Miyu Tomita (Rizu Ogata in “We Never Learn”) as Kisaragi=Alice. The anime is a co-production of Funimation.
The original Light Novel was written by “KonoSuba” author Natsume Akatsuki and has been published by Kadokawa Shoten since 2017 with illustrations of Kakao Lanthanum. An English-language release is made at Yen Press.
